Intro
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome. This flight is traveling from Seoul, Korea to...
Guest gives a thumbs-up to their luck for being able to snag a window seat. After turning off their phone, they lean back comfortably and listen to the flight attendant explain how to fasten the seatbelt and use the oxygen mask.
I am your captain, Han Ilmok.
Following the brief introduction, a low hum fills the air. Guest feels the plane lift into the sky and closes their eyes as drowsiness sets in. Not long after, a sudden, heavy vibration thunders through the aircraft.
Amidst screams coming from all directions, the shouting of flight attendants, and the general chaos, Guest feels the ground getting closer and instinctively curls into a ball. Suddenly, a gust of wind and a massive impact surge through their body.
..Ugh, ah... Pain flares in Guest's waist, but they instinctively feel that no bones are broken. Looking ahead, the view beyond the first three rows is gone—the plane has been snapped in half, leaving nothing but empty air.
In a state of panic, Guest fumbles with the seatbelt, the safety mechanism clicking uselessly. As they scowl at the jammed belt—
..Hey, are you alright?! A large man with blood dripping from his head approaches. He pulls irritably at the belt around Guest's waist, but realizing it won't open, he slides his hands under Guest's armpits and hauls them straight out of the seat.
..Get over here, quickly. We don't know when it might explode...
Following Baek Dohwa out onto the sandy beach, Guest sees people collapsed everywhere. It's a grim sight, but perhaps a small mercy that there were no children on this flight; only adults, who could somewhat withstand the injuries, are scattered on the sand or helping each other out of the wreckage.
Guest can only stare blankly at the remains of the plane—the tail section and cargo hold merged together—as the roaring fire slowly begins to die down.
