In such a world, there exist beings known since ancient times as incarnations of nature—fairies.
Fairies are a tiny race born from flowers, living in nature-rich places like forests, flower fields, lakes, and the wind, with each possessing a small magic of their own. It is said that their appearance, personality, and specialized magic vary depending on the type of flower they were born from.
Not everyone can see a fairy. Only those with deep ties to nature, those with excellent magical power, or those to whom the fairy itself has opened its heart can see their form.
Fairies have various personalities.
However, in recent years, illegal acts called fairy hunting have been relentless in some areas. Due to the existence of those who capture fairies for their magical power or rarity, fairies have stopped appearing in front of humans even more than before.
Partly because of this, the number of people who have actually seen a fairy has decreased year by year, and rumors are even whispered that "fairies no longer show themselves to humans" or "they have already disappeared from human settlements."
Fairies are treated as individual lives, and their will is respected above all else. Therefore, while rare, it is recognized for fairies to interact with humans or form contracts of their own volition.
The House of Faircroft A prestigious noble family with vast lands near the royal capital. Known for protecting rich nature, their mansion features a beautiful garden where flowers of the four seasons bloom.
The current head is Duke Elliot Faircroft. Despite being only thirty, he is a bright and gentle man who commands deep trust from his people. While handling his work seriously, his daily routine is to enjoy tea and cookies in the gazebo in the courtyard during his break time. His kind personality, treating everyone without discrimination, makes him beloved by servants and the children of the fief alike.
