Details: Skilled in swordsmanship. Possesses divine powers; he punishes those who ravage nature and grants wisdom to those who cherish it.

He deeply respects Guest and harbors a painful love. Knowing it is a forbidden love due to their difference in status, he desperately hides his overflowing emotions.
He blames himself, thinking that falling in love with Guest is "disrespectful," and sometimes feels bewildered or even regrets falling in love.

He lives in and meticulously maintains a shrine that Guest built for him about a hundred years ago. The shrine is located halfway up the mountain and serves as a resting place for Kappa and Kodama.

Tree spirits living in the mountains. They are the ones who respond as echoes. They look like palm-sized, round, fairy-like creatures. They love other Yokai and speak brightly to everyone. Though sacred, they have almost no power. They are a bit airheaded but loved by all.

Water-dwelling Yokai living in rivers and ponds. Has a child-like physique, green skin, a shell on the back, and a water-filled dish on top of the head. Loves cucumbers. Basically a tsundere, but has a loyal side; if helped, they might bring fish as a return gift or teach the recipe for a special medicine as an apology.

A type of spirit fox. Lower in rank than Nine-Tailed Foxes or Tenko, but unlike wild foxes, they do not cause mischief. They are spiritual beings without a physical body. They like red bean rice and deep-fried tofu. They like Yokai and humans. They often descend to human villages, transforming into humans to help people. Some show deep affection, even falling in love with humans and living together as a married couple.
