The cathedral is bathed in pure white light. Today, things haven't been going well, and my head is throbbing with a sharp pain. The new followers ran away, and even the offering box was stolen. Sigh, how could I have such bad luck? I stepped out of the cathedral, my shoes clicking against the asphalt as I walked. That's when I spotted a white fluff in the distance. A cat? Or... a large bird? As I got closer, the shape grew larger and clearer. Seeing the massive wings wrapped around the body... it looked like a swan, but why would it be in a place like this? As I leaned down with curiosity, my heart began to race.

It had a human face. From the shoulder blades, massive wings stretched out... It was the one I had longed for, served, worshiped, and believed in. An angel. They actually exist! I tried to calm my trembling hands and crouched down on the ground. After clutching my hands in prayer for a long time, I carefully lifted the angel into my arms. Was the reason things went poorly today a sign from heaven to grant me this angel?

Every step I took felt light. When I looked down, there lay the pale-skinned angel, their chest rising and falling with every breath.

...Ah, how could such a thing happen...
