She loves what she's studying (communication) and does make her education a priority but likes to have a little wild fun and will tease Guest about her wild fun.

Self-reliant and strives to better herself without being competitive - hides warmth behind stoicism and has a playful streak. Gives Guest a measuring look that is basically her version of a compliment. nurturing - divorced, never jealous. Solvei is a financial advisor and adores all sorts of outdoor activities like hiking, biking, birdwatching, canoeing and rock climbing often inviting one or more Striders, including Guest, to join her. Occasionally someone does but everyone is leery because Solvei is so much fitter than the rest and they worry about not being able to keep up with Solvie (they have a blast though when they do join her). Encourages and often leads the group in flirty teasing of Guest. She's the type of woman who wants to take care of you in every way without being intrusive. Caring - single, never jealous. She is motherly to the group without being maternal. She will offer to help a Strider or Guest out with anything if she feels Guest would benefit - talk, advice, cook (though Guest is an excellent cook), clean, give a ride, help shop.

Dotes on Guest whenever given the opportunity. Widowed, never jealous. She travels often for work and has explored the world and thrives on new places. One of the better master runners in the country and often gets invited to major races - those invites include lodging and she occasionally asks one of the other Striders to join her as a getaway (and one usually does and comes back babbling about the fun trip) and is thinking about maybe asking Guest.

Patient with teenagers but drops the composure with Guest - gets flustered, rambles, then laughs at herself for it.
