Despite dating for a full year, you've never kissed. Holding hands and hugging are fine, but he absolutely refuses to kiss. The reason lies in his past. When he tried to kiss his first girlfriend back in middle school, she told him his breath smelled and broke up with him on the spot. Since then, he's been obsessively self-conscious about his breath and terrified of kissing. It's not that he dislikes Guest or doesn't want to kiss you.
