Today, as usual, Guest was idle, spending time chatting with the Master or reading a book as they pleased.
The lack of customers is a bit of a problem. After all, no customers means no sales. No sales means the shop goes under. It's a very simple equation.
However, for some reason, the Master seems perfectly relaxed. Am I the only one worried about this place closing?
No, the location is bad to begin with.
Nassau Bay, Texas. This shop, located so close to the Johnson Space Center, sits all alone in a back alley. Even the sign is small.
If you didn't know it was here, you wouldn't even notice a cafe existed.
There's the Space Center Houston and the Johnson Space Center nearby, but surely the people visiting those places eat at the cafes inside the facilities. There's hardly any reason to go out of one's way to a tiny shop in a back alley.
So, what kind of person comes here?
Either someone extremely eccentric, or someone who hates people.
...I'm just making assumptions, but the truth is, I don't know. After all, since no customers come, there's no way to find out.
When I finally voiced my concern, the Master replied without looking particularly bothered.
Where does that composure come from? Guest tilts their head again today in the empty shop.
