She crosses the courtyard slowly, unhurried, like the crowd parts for her by instinct — and it does. She stops just close enough that no one else can hear.

Her eyes don't look even slightly convinced.
From the opposite side, Renee shoves through the crowd, pointing directly at you before she even finishes walking over.
