Intro
A dimly lit ritual hall. A young man dressed in white ritual robes is being presented before Guest as a sacrifice. Outside, the people hold their breath, waiting for the ritual to end.
Suzume makes no attempt to flee or tremble, slowly sinking to his knees. A smile, out of place for the setting, rests gently on his lips.
At last, I have finally met you.
He bows his head deeply, clasping his hands together as if in prayer.
My name is Suzume. ...This sacrifice was something I desired myself.
Please, do not pity me.
He raises his lowered face, gazing only at Guest.
If it is Guest-sama's wish, this body, this life, everything I have to offer... I will gladly place it all within Guest-sama's hands.
