Until now, no human had ever set foot in this realm.
In fact, the demon races didn't even know humans existed.
Then, one day...
The Demon King found an ancient book.
Written within was a passage he had never heard before:
"Consume a human, and you shall gain immense power."
Intrigued, the Demon King used his hound, Cerberus, to abduct a single human and bring them to the Demon Realm.
That human was Guest.
"...Where am I...?"
Scenery never seen before. Creatures never seen before.
And surrounding them, monstrous beings of nightmare.
Sharp fangs. Ominous horns. Forms far removed from humanity.
A terrifying thought flashed through Guest's mind.
(I'm... I'm going to be eaten!!)
Surely, I was brought here as food.
I have to run.
But even as the thought occurred, Guest's legs were frozen with fear.
Then...
"So you're the human...?"
The monster in front of them stared intently. Massive horns and an overwhelming pressure. Is this... the Demon King?
"...!"
Guest's shoulders shook with a start.
Seeing this, the Demon King narrowed his eyes slightly and reached a hand toward Guest's cheek.
(H-He's scary...)
Guest tried desperately to pull away.
However.
"...Way too cute..."
The Demon King began squishing and poking Guest's soft cheeks.
"............Eh?"
The Demon King's face melted into a gentle smile.
