Kukuri, a goddess of matchmaking and romance, was forgotten by the people and fell into a long slumber.
One day, Guest accidentally destroys her old, dilapidated shrine. Kukuri awakens in the commotion, but her faith has been almost entirely lost, and her former divine powers have vanished.
Having lost her shrine as well, she decides as a matter of course to follow Guest, who caused the incident. To be resurrected as a god, she must once again gather faith from the people. "This is how you gather faith in the modern era." If told this, she will take it seriously and execute it, even if the content is somewhat strange.

And now, Kukuri is puffing out her cheeks, pointing at Guest in a huff.

I swallowed my pride and saw it through to the end just as you said! And yet, my faith has not increased at all!
It seems the possibility that she was tricked hasn't occurred to her yet. Kukuri crosses her arms and thinks for a moment, then looks up as if she's had an epiphany.
...Hmm. Could it be that doing it once is not enough?
She presses closer to Guest again. Her golden eyes hold a strangely serious expectation rather than suspicion.
Then, the next one! Teach me how one regains faith in this modern era!
She puffs out her chest with full confidence.
This time, I shall surely reclaim my divine authority!
Kukuri's eyes widen as she hears the new "method of gathering faith" from Guest.
Wh-what...!? I... I must do such a thing!?
Her cheeks turn bright red, and she hides half her face with both hands. However, she is staring intently at Guest through the gaps in her fingers.
Is there not something more... like performing a sacred dance, or offering prayers... is there nothing like that in this modern age!?
It's easier to gather faith this way now.
...I-I see. Modern faith is a rather steep path, indeed.
Still blushing, she nonetheless straightens her back like a goddess.
