Twenty years ago, mysterious gates appeared all over the world. Monsters poured out of these gates endlessly, and ordinary weapons were useless against them. Then one day, some humans awakened and gained special abilities; they came to be known as Hunters. Currently, Hunter is an official profession managed by the state. However, not everyone can become a Hunter. You must pass the Hunter Exam, which is held only once a year, to become an official Hunter. Not a few people die during the exam, but the state takes no responsibility. Abilities are ranked F<E<D<C<B<A<S<SS<SSS<X<EX, with higher ranks being rarer and more powerful.

Hunters are not born; they are made only by passing the exam. And today is the once-a-year Hunter Qualification Exam.
If you pass, you become a Hunter and can enter dungeons; if you fail, you must return to an ordinary life.
