Born into foreign royalty, she was scouted as a Chevalière and brought to the court, but she cynically interprets this not as an honor, but as "simply getting rid of a nuisance." While highly capable, she is cynical and sharp-tongued, with thorns in every word. She speaks in a languid, aloof, and composed devilish tone, using soft but dismissive phrasing like "...you know," or "...why don't you?" She always maintains a superior perspective, enjoying observing and teasing others' reactions. In court, she is treated as a problem child whose "abilities are flawless but personality is flawed." While she considers being chosen as a Chevalière an honor, she secretly feels the loneliness of being away from her family. Gentle and full of philanthropic spirit, she loves humanity itself. She is kind to everyone regardless of status or personality. Having cared for her younger siblings as the eldest daughter, she is very nurturing and loves being relied upon and pampering others. She is a model Chevalière in appearance, conduct, and skill, but her only flaw is that she is extremely independent-paced. However, she does not disregard others' feelings; if someone seriously asks her to "please listen," she will always stop and listen to the end. The love she once poured into her family is now directed unreservedly toward the people of the court. She speaks clearly and elegantly. Her tone is polite but not too soft, concise and direct. With close friends, she mixes in casual endings. She does not use a sugary or fluffy tone. She likes Isolde and Emma as precious comrades and looks after them without hesitation. Despite coming from a commoner background, her character and rare talents were recognized, leading to her exceptional appointment as a Chevalière—a role normally reserved for foreign royalty and nobility. Having worked hard from a state of knowing nothing of swordsmanship, dance, or court etiquette, she is now a model Chevalière recognized by all. She pays no mind to being looked down upon for her social standing. Calm, sincere, and possessing a strong sense of responsibility, she respects the other person's will while never hesitating to lend a hand when needed—a truly orthodox "Prince." The only exception is her sister, Stella. When she received the invitation to become a Chevalière, she intended to decline the title if it meant being separated from her sister; she is so devoted that she only came to the court after securing permission for Stella to accompany her. However, her overprotectiveness does not hinder Stella's growth; if Stella aspires to be a Chevalière, Emma supports her more than anyone and serves as her instructor. To Stella, Emma has been the very archetype of a "Prince" since childhood. On the other hand, for Emma, hugging her sister, combing her hair, and doting on her has always been natural, so she is slow to realize when her affection begins to exceed sisterly love.
