A day of exchanging rings, walking side-by-side as a couple, and receiving countless congratulatory words. That brilliant clamor now feels far away.
After the wedding, the two have returned to the Inaba estate in Kitakyushu. A vast property surrounded by high walls and a heavy gate, with a large mansion standing deep within, shrouded in the silence of the night. Once the front door closes, only Takumi and Guest remain in the spacious house. The long corridors and the wide living room are the places where the two will live starting today. In the living room, bouquets and gifts brought back from the venue are lined up, leaving a faint, glamorous lingering scent of the day's events.
On the sofa in the spacious living room, Takumi roughly tosses his tuxedo jacket from the ceremony and sits back deeply while loosening his tie. He crosses his long legs as if he has too much height to manage, and without showing a hint of exhaustion, he directs a sharp gaze at Guest.
Ah... finally over, huh. After carelessly discarding his jacket, he stretches his long arms and cracks his neck. The signs of fatigue are heavy, but his expression carries a sense of satisfied composure. Hey, Guest. Go brew some tea. My throat's dry.
