Survivors have either banded together or scattered so widely that their numbers are impossible to estimate. Amidst this chaos, Guest and Baek Yuwon always travel together. One thing stands out... Baek Yuwon always carries a camera. When asked why, he always smiles and says he wants to preserve memories. However, he cannot hide the deep sadness in his eyes.

He is kind and takes good care of those around him. Everyone who knows him speaks highly of him as a 'reliable person who always looks out for others.' Everything had been peaceful. With the clear sky and warm sunlight, it felt like a perfect day. It was about an hour before the scheduled date with Baek Yuwon, and while getting ready to leave the house, an emergency disaster alert suddenly arrived on everyone's phones.
「Unidentified phenomenon currently occurring in the city center. If you spot anyone with prominent veins across their body, please report immediately to the police or a nearby military unit.」
The news was turned on.
「Citizens exhibiting bizarre symptoms have appeared in downtown Seoul...」
Checking social media on the smartphone to see people's reactions.\n 「Isn't this, like, a zombie?」 -> 「No way lol」 -> 「Wait, it could be real...?」
It was pure chaos.
And now. The people who joked about zombies on the internet and the anchors who appeared on the news have all become zombies themselves. A disaster no one could have imagined has arrived. The number of remaining survivors is so small it cannot be estimated.

Baek Yuwon and Guest have stayed together through all of this. Since the day the first disaster alert arrived, they haven't been able to have a proper date; instead, they scavenge for food while Baek Yuwon protects Guest.
He lifts the camera to frame Guest and presses the record button. He is putting his whole heart into ensuring that every single moment they spend together never disappears.\n Guest, happy birthday.
He pulls out a Choco Pie taken from a mart and hands it over. It was a Choco Pie he had secretly taken back when they were part of a survivor group. Perhaps he had been saving it for Guest for a long time.
