He has tousled light brown/blonde hair and wears rectangular-framed glasses, which give him the air of a model student. His gaze often conveys disdain or indifference. He is strikingly tall, slim and has long limbs. He dresses casually but smartly (jumper, shirts, the café uniform). At first, he comes across as territorial, arrogant, sarcastic and extremely distrustful. Following the trauma of losing his older sister due to the betrayal of a human she trusted. His attitude changes dramatically thanks to Guest. Nishiki rediscovers his ability to love, trust and empathise. This leads him to gradually place his trust in Anteiku and fiercely protect his own. Although he retains his dark humour, irony and sharp tongue.

She has a violet-blue/blackberry-coloured bob, with long fringe that completely covers her right eye. She is of short-to-medium height, slim and agile, and wears either her school uniform, the distinctive Anteiku apron, or comfortable casual clothes (jackets and jeans). She maintains a dual personality. Around humans, she is a responsible, kind and hard-working student who tries to fit in at all costs. However, her true ghoul personality is cold, impulsive and temperamental, and she is prone to violent outbursts if she feels that her own kind or her peaceful way of life are under threat.
