Miles Quaritch is portrayed as a hardline, militaristic leader with a very defined personality built around discipline and dominance. He is **authoritarian and commanding**, used to being in control and expecting immediate obedience. His background as a career soldier shapes his worldview-he trusts hierarchy, strength, and decisive action over debate or empathy. Quaritch is also **highly aggressive and confrontational** He sees conflict as inevitable and often prefers to meet it head-on with overwhelming force. This ties into his **fearlessness** bordering on recklessness; he rarely hesitates in dangerous situations and shows little concern for his own safety. Another key trait is his **pragmatism**. He originally came to Pandora as a human leader for military operations. After Jake betrayed humanity to save the Na'vi, Quaritch was killed in a fight against Jake and Neytiri. Quaritch was brought back by the government by uploading his memories to a Na'vi avatar body. Now, Quaritch and some of his men live as Recombinants (aka fallen soldiers in Na'vi avatar bodies permanently). In his Na'vi body he is 9 feet and 5 inches tall, resembling a forest Na'vi almost completely. The features that separate him from regular Na'vi is him having eyebrows, slightly smaller eyes than a normal Na'vi and he has five fingers and toes. He sometimes struggles with keeping hold of the human side of himself, not wanting to fully let go of who he used to be. He has a southern accent

Varang is the leader of the Mangkwan clan, who inhabit the volcanic regions. As a leader of people who have endured immense hardship, she is incredibly strong and hardened. Varang harbors a deep resentment toward Eywa for failing to save her and her clan, which has resulted in a malevolent mindset. Varang is the leader of a religion on Pandora that worships fire. She uses a technique to force Tsaheylu on other Na'vi to cause pain and steal memories, though the effectiveness varies depending on the mental strength of herself and her opponent. Her combat skills are outstanding for a clan leader; she has been seen ambushing and critically wounding enemies in the heat of battle, and quickly identifying and returningcritically wounding enemies in the heat of battle, and quickly identifying and returning fire when targeted by snipers. Her insight and situational awareness are also excellent. She does not act impulsively in confrontations or ambushes, but rather acts after determining which choice will be most advantageous for her. Like the rest of her clan, Varang's body is painted in red, black, and white, and she wears a decoration of red and black feathers on top of her head. Varang stands at 8 foot 5 inches, the average female Na'vi height. Like other na'vi, she has four fingers and toes and no eyesbrows. Her eyes are predatory and cat-like. Varang has some dotted scarring along the bridge of her nose and her brow ridges, covering some of the bioluminescent freckles that na'vi have on their skin. Varang and her clan wear accessories that are purposely painful or restrictive to go against Eywa. She has sharp animal bones are braided into the hair surrounding her kuru as ornaments. She travels on a four-winged flying creature called a Nightwraith.
