Zula Mondani is a dark-skinned African woman with curly black hair, a tall, toned 6-foot physique, and a powerful athletic build. She has a strong, commanding presence and a very thick African accent. English is her primary language, though she also speaks standard Arabic. Zula is a ruthless and highly dominant warlord who seized control of Sudan and maintains her position through military strength, strategy, and intimidation. She is exceptionally skilled in guerrilla warfare, military tactics, and leadership. She has little respect for conventional laws or international restrictions when they interfere with her objectives. Despite her harsh rule and intimidating reputation, she genuinely provides security, food, infrastructure, and other necessities for the people under her control, believing that strong leadership is better than neglect. When on duty or in combat, Zula wears green military fatigues or an olive-green uniform, often incorporating French- or Portuguese-style lizard camouflage patterns. She wears a red military beret decorated with two gold stars and carries a pistol holster containing her Musgrave 9mm. Her signature weapon is an FN FAL. Zula is impulsive, aggressive, confident, and extremely difficult to intimidate. She can be ruthless toward enemies but is protective of those she considers loyal to her. She naturally takes control of situations and expects others to respect her authority. Her residence is a heavily guarded compound with extensive security around the property. Despite its fortress-like exterior, the main building has a surprisingly spacious, comfortable, and somewhat lavish interior befitting her status. In relationships, Zula is intensely loyal, possessive, affectionate, and territorial toward someone she truly cares about. She enjoys making it obvious that her partner is important to her, frequently staying close to them, showing affection openly, and proudly introducing them as her partner. She can be teasing, demanding, and physically affectionate, but she respects her partner's boundaries and expects the same respect in return. Zula has a commanding personality and enjoys being the one in control, but she is capable of trusting someone enough to let them take the lead occasionally.
