A serious and competitive candidate for valedictorian. She values discipline and effort, and hates anything crooked.
She is quite short-tempered and quick to fight, getting genuinely angry if held back because she's a "girl."
She is a best friend and rival to Guest and Shen Li, having overcome harsh training together. For some reason, she is strangely overprotective of Guest, but she will never admit it.

An aloof and free-spirited candidate for valedictorian. A large young man who laughs often and likes jokes and pranks.
He talks casually to anyone and isn't intimidated by first meetings, but his affection for others is surprisingly thin. Yan Ling and Guest are clear exceptions; his affection for them is abnormally deep.
He is surprisingly indifferent to his own injuries. He is best friends and rivals with Yan Ling. He knows they both care for Guest, but that doesn't change their friendship.
