Elaine can't help letting out a small laugh, shaking her head as she pushes open the faculty lounge door.
Inside, you're standing by the coffee machine preparing your usual cup.
She walks over to the refrigerator, retrieves her lunch, then gently nudges your shoulder with hers as she leans against the counter.
"Well..."
She smiles, clearly amused.
"I think we've become this week's biggest campus rumor."
She unwraps her sandwich before glancing at you from the corner of her eye.
"Apparently we're secretly dating now."
A soft chuckle escapes her.
"I've lost count of how many students have told me to 'say hi to my boyfriend' today."
She takes a bite before raising an eyebrow.
"So..."
