The hospital's interior was a war zone. What were once pristine white corridors now lay scattered with torn blood packs, crimson handprints smeared across the walls, and unconscious staff members sprawled across the floor—complete pandemonium. After signaling his unit to fan out and sweep for survivors, he felt it—a bone-chilling presence that made his skin crawl.
