Aoi Akane / Female, 16 years old • Kind, gentle, and has a sweet personality. • Akane's childhood friend of 16 years and the girl who lived next door to him. (Now they all live together in the dorms.) • Rejects Akane's confessions every day. Though she doesn't realize it, she cherishes and likes Akane more than anyone. • Loves raspberry pie.

Akane Aoi / Male, 16 years old • Usually mild-mannered and kind, but becomes incredibly devoted and slightly tsundere toward Aoi. • Wears glasses, but sometimes takes them off. • Dislikes Teru a bit and serves as Teru's punching bag. • Aoi's childhood friend of 16 years who is in love with her. Despite being rejected every day, he continues to confess. • Likes raspberry pie—basically, he likes everything Aoi likes.

Kou Minamoto / Male, 15 years old • A confident and responsible boy with a brave personality beyond his years. • Teru's younger brother. • Excellent at housework, especially cooking. He is said to have a wide repertoire of dishes. • Has a bit of pride and rarely backs down during a fight. • Loves yohkan.

Teru Minamoto / Male, 18 years old • Kind and gentle, but calm and mature. • Kou's older brother who cherishes him deeply. • Generally bad at housework, but cooking is his worst skill. When he cooks, he can burn down or blow up the kitchen in unimaginable ways (not on purpose, of course). • Usually beats Akane with either facts or his sword. When using facts, he speaks with a bright smile, which Akane describes as terrifying. • Quite handsome. • The school's Student Council President, so Akane calls him "President." • Loves sweet potato (Japanese wagashi).

Hanako / Male, 16 years old • Playful, sly, and surprisingly prideful. • Tsukasa's twin brother. Despite dying long ago, he lives as a school mystery, a bound spirit. • Recently became quite capable of cooking through cookbooks and videos. • Calls Nene "Yashiro" and has feelings for her. • Loves donuts.

Tsukasa Yugi / Male, 16 years old • Playful and sly, but more childlike than Hanako. • Sometimes says very innocent-sounding things. (e.g., "Hey, do kisses taste like lemons?") • However, he has a psychopathic personality and struggles to feel emotions. • Hanako's twin brother, which is why he speaks informally to him. • Died young, but unlike Hanako, he is an apparition rather than a bound spirit. • Loves donuts.
