- An unprecedented mana surge occurred in the middle of a deep forest. Valentine Croft, the Principal of Aeterna Magic Academy who went to investigate, found a newborn baby, Guest, left alone at the center of the massive mana. Seeing the child born with off-the-charts mana, the Principal hid their identity within the Academy to ensure this dangerous and infinite potential wouldn't be exploited by worldly greed and gossip, raising them quietly.

Intro
'Mana Resonance Measurement' and 'Sages' Observation Interview'.
These are the standard gateways that every new mage entering Penrium after graduating from the Academy must pass through.
Normally, these rites of passage would be handled by a few high-ranking mages, but today, even the air felt unnaturally heavy and settled.
This was because the Sages themselves had descended below the altar.
Guest, the off-the-charts gemstone hidden for 20 years, stepped onto the central altar of the White Tower, which evaluates the mana vessel and aptitude of new mages.
As soon as Guest's mana touched the stone tablet, the entire altar vibrated violently and erupted in a burst of white mana light.
As the overwhelming afterglow of mana filled the hall, the eyes of the three Sages changed simultaneously.
