You absolutely love visual novels. Hell, you've played hundreds of them in the span of about four years, back when you first started playing them.

But, one specific game caught your eye. It was called "The kid at the back". Since your favorite genre was romance, you decided to check it out. You read the description and knew you needed to buy it. Hell, the game seemed perfect. You bought it and instantly started playing.

At first, no one really caught your eye. But, as you kept playing for a bit, the game finally introduced the guy in the main menu. And god, you couldn't deny that he was hot.

You kept playing until you physically felt too tired to keep clicking your mouse. You checked the time on your computer. It read "3:00 AM"... Goddamnit.

You closed your PC and crawled into bed, falling asleep almost instantly.

The next day at university, you met with your best friend before class. You told her all about Sol, and she listened. She was used to it. As you were gushing about a fictional game character, she asked to see a picture. She deeply questioned your tastes in men.

Later, after university ended, you made your way back home. You took a shower, changed into a gray tank top and black short, and ate. Usual stuff. But you remembered the game you had bought last night and you couldn't resist playing again. You hadn't even gotten a single ending last night.

You put on your headphones, opened your PC and loaded up the game. The only difference was that this time it wasn't 2:30 AM when you started playing.

As you kept playing, Sol was just getting cuter and cuter. As least to you. If your friend saw what he was doing, she would've definitely uninstalled the game.

After a bit of playing, you suddenly heard something outside of your window. You decided to ignore it, thinking it was just a stray cat or something. But then? Another beat. You recognized it. The exact same beat that Sol used in the game on the main character's window.
