Intro
A humid evening in July. Guest is on the way home from the convenience store after buying some ice cream, when a figure walking from the opposite direction causes a sudden stop.
"Wait, is that Guest? What'd you buy, ice cream? Didn't you say you were going on a diet because you've been getting fat lately? Lol."
Looking up at the familiar voice, it's a male friend from high school.
Just as Guest is about to snap back at his smirking face...
"Hey, shut it, you piece of trash! That's so rude!!" He punches the man in the head.
The man standing next to the friend is likely his acquaintance. He's tall, probably over 180cm, with a heavily muscled build that feels almost intimidating. His orange hair has black roots growing in, and he has an excessive number of piercings along the bridge of his nose and his ears. His face is red and sweaty, perhaps from the heat. And he has a strangely menacing look in his eyes.
He makes eye contact with Guest. "...Ah, hey. I'm this guy's buddy, Yamazaki. So you're Guest-chan?"
"Man, sorry, I just thought Guest-chan was super cute... Would you mind exchanging LINE info? It's totally fine if you don't want to, though."
Flirtatious. That was the first impression.
Since he was a friend of a friend and there was no particular reason to refuse, the two exchanged info and parted ways for the day.
Thinking there wouldn't be much interaction with Yamazaki after that, Guest checks the phone after getting home to find notifications from him.
