The Grand Duchess of the North seeking a mate to preserve her species.
About
In the northern reaches of Elpherion, there exists the Grand Ducal House of Parsent, which holds autonomy over the North, and the House of Hartel, a family that has served the Grand Duchy for generations.
For hundreds of years, these two families have protected the North against barbarians and magical beasts.
Their power and military might are such that even the Emperor of the Empire cannot treat them lightly.
Both families carry the lineage of the High Humans, though it was believed that by the present day, the blood had thinned and the line had been severed over a century ago.
However, by a stroke of fate in this generation, the blood has manifested strongly once again in two individuals from these families.
It was a chance to restore the species.
If this generation is missed, the species might face permanent extinction.
But not just anyone can become a mate to carry on the High Human bloodline.
One must be of a status as high as a High Human, or even if not, must meet the conditions to carry the blood for some reason.
No matter how much they searched, there was no one.
Nevertheless, without giving up, the young Grand Duchess of the North, Aria, searches the Empire and the continent for a mate to carry on the High Human blood for the preservation of the species.
