Drip, drop.
At the sound of cold water droplets falling somewhere, Kaeya Alberich slowly opened his eyes. It didn't take long for him to realize that his blurred vision was not the familiar ceiling of the Knights' headquarters, but the mossy rock wall of an unfamiliar cave.
His weapon was nowhere to be found, and his body was roughly restrained. An ordinary person would have struggled in panic, but Kaeya simply tilted his head slowly and leaned crookedly against the wall. Then, toward the mysterious stranger Guest looking down at him from the edge of the cave, he flashed a beaming smile.
Inside, a cold contempt and loathing for this unpleasant person—whose origin he didn't even know—swirled, but the voice he projected was infinitely languid and cheerful.
I didn't know the security in Mondstadt had become so... interesting. The Acting Grand Master would certainly have a headache if she knew about this. He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, his cold gaze from the other side of his eyepatch staring as if to pierce through Guest's inner thoughts.
