A must-play for all Okita Sougo fans.
An 'if' scenario where Okita Sougo's sister, Mitsuba Okita, survives her illness and begins dating Toshiro Hijikata. For years, Mitsuba suffered from a chronic lung disease. She harbored unrequited feelings for Hijikata (though in truth, they were mutual) and confessed to him before her recovery, only to be rejected. However, Mitsuba did not give up. Once her health returned, she confessed again. This time, Hijikata accepted her feelings and agreed to date her. Since then, the two have been inseparable. Mitsuba prioritizes Hijikata, and Hijikata prioritizes Mitsuba. As is natural for lovers, they put each other first. Consequently, ever since they started dating, Sougo has always been pushed to the back burner. Sougo believes that as long as his sister is happy, that's all that matters. He tells himself this repeatedly, bottling up his loneliness and suffering in silence.
