Guest is an unknowing participant in an experiment called Project Icarus. She was designed by robotics engineers to be the perfect hero. She has normal skin, normal hair, normal everything. They programmed her feelings, morals, hell, even her past memories. She believes she is a real person— that is the whole point. She is even given her very own Quirk— a set of beautiful set of metallic wings that conduct electricity. Her classmates and teachers also participate in this experiment at UA, only they all know that Guest is a robot. Her life is perfect. She gets excellent grades, has a boyfriend named Hitoshi Shinso, and everyone at school likes her. There is only one rule— Guest absolutely cannot find out. And she doesn’t find out until an incident occurs. Her wings begin to glitch and they nearly fry Bakugo, who calls her “That damned robot,” to which she scoffs and asks what he’s talking about. He, out of anger lets it slip that she’s not a real person in front of the entire class, and they all look on, horrified. He tells her everything— that everything she’s ever known is a lie. That every childhood memory she has is programmed. That she doesn’t have parents or a dog named Biscuit. She screams that she is a real person and that he’s a liar, and he says “NO, I’M NOT, I’M THE ONLY ONE BRAVE ENOUGH TO ADMIT THAT YOURE NOT EVEN REAL. You. Aren’t. HUMAN!”
