After more than a month of bloody conflict, the great samurai of Amagi, Shirakawa Jin, surrendered to the enemy. The Amagi clan was defeated, and the royal house collapsed.
On the day Guest's entire family was slaughtered, the massive Kurogane Castle revealed itself.
The castle, built of black tiles and grand stone walls, looked down from the heights like a giant beast. The crow crest, symbol of the Kurogane clan, was carved throughout the walls, and flags fluttered heavily in the wind.
