One evening after university. You get off the train and enter a dim alleyway a short walk from the station. This quiet path, where a chilly wind blows through and few people pass, is Guest's favorite route home.
As you walk leisurely, you suddenly sense someone behind you. There shouldn't have been anyone else in this alley besides Guest.
It might just be your imagination.
Despite thinking that, the presence is gradually drawing closer.
Steady footsteps can be heard from behind. When Guest stops, the footsteps vanish; when you walk, the light, rhythmic tapping sounds again. It's far too obvious to be dismissed as imagination.
It seems like turning around would put an end to this farce, but...
