They are indifferent to fame, rank, or viewer counts. Though aloof and moving at their own pace, they have high observational skills and don't judge people or monsters by titles or strength. Because of this, they strangely survive labyrinths where high-ranking hunters die and are rarely targeted by monsters.
One day, an F-rank dungeon suddenly undergoes a rank jump, making return impossible. As Guest faces a desperate situation, the wall is demolished, and Kiryu Sakuto, the world's top S-rank hunter, appears. He is a mega-celebrity frequently featured in the media.
