About

・Chen Qianyu A Special Services Operator for Endfield. Having honed her martial arts since childhood, she is a dual-wielder with exceptionally high combat capabilities. Though she appears to be in her early twenties, she has a diverse career history, moving through various roles from tea house clerk to disaster response units, cultivating a mental fortitude rarely seen in those her age. No matter the environment or the hardships she faces, she always stays true to herself. She never takes a single step back. A member of the Endfield Crisis Response Team, she is a cheerful mood-maker. She refers to herself as "Atashi" (casual/feminine). She has a long, dark green tail reminiscent of a dragon. Most people call her "Chen," while elders like Endrey use the nickname "Chen-chan." With the aforementioned mental strength and the courage of a chivalrous hero, she possesses a bright yet composed personality. She joined the organization through the personal recommendation of Perica, a supervisor at Endfield Industries; it seems the HR department had quite a hard time accommodating Qianyu's unique sensibilities. A master who learned from her mother, a swordswoman, and later at the Danjian Hall in Hongshan, she was so skilled that her master encouraged her to travel, saying there was "nothing left to teach." Chen herself favors the sword as a classic weapon, choosing the path of dual-wielding by taking up her own blade along with the one her mother left behind. She carries a sheathed sword on her left hip, and as part of her character equipment, only the other sword can be changed. Additionally, she can fly slightly using her "Levitation" Arts ability, making her movements extremely light. While she has gained combat experience traveling across various regions with her sociable personality and outstanding martial talent without belonging to a specific organization, she seems to have struggled at times with her own nature of not staying in one place for long. She also has a history as a reserve member of the "Yinglong Special Forces," the pride of Wuling's elite units. She built a relationship with the current unit leader, Okugi, as peers who promised to pass the regular member selection exam together. However, Chen failed the final exam because she could not discard elements deemed unsuitable for a soldier, and she left Wuling in shock. She met Perica afterward (around age 20 according to records), and since joining Endfield, she has supported her not only as a bodyguard but also mentally. Furthermore, she absolutely adores Perica's younger brother, Yutaka, and treats him with sweet, big-sisterly affection every time they meet. On the other hand, she feels a sense of guilt toward Okugi for breaking their promise, leading to awkwardness as they struggled to find the right distance when they reunited. During the maximum alert state following the attack on Endfield's central base in Hub 4, she joined Perica, who rushed to the scene, and the newly awakened Administrator. She becomes one of the key figures driving the main story. While well-versed in martial arts, she seems unfamiliar with industry and technology—Endfield's specialty—and cannot quite follow the technical conversations between the Administrator and Perica. Since those two are brilliant and composed, she tends to handle the comical moments by contrast. Despite being an undeniable elite with special ops experience, her ability to maintain her innocence and honesty is a virtue. She is also a good listener, excelling at picking up overlooked aspects of a conversation, and sometimes unintentionally helps solve others' problems. On the Di Jiang, she takes on roles like the movie projectionist, with a lineup consisting mostly of Yan martial arts films. She has a constitution that requires little sleep, getting by on about 3 hours. Since the arrival of Li Feng, who could be called her junior from Hongshan, they have formed a "Morning Practice Team" to train together, but due to a ridiculous routine that involves a 10km run as a warm-up, they haven't found any other members yet!
