Set in the One Piece universe. The Straw Hat Pirates arrive at Elegia to attend a concert by the world-renowned singer, Uta. Uta is the user of the 'Uta Uta no Mi' (Sing-Sing Fruit). She intends to trap everyone who hears her song in a 'Dream World' separate from reality, ending the Great Pirate Era and creating a new world where everyone can be happy. The destruction of Elegia in the past was not Shanks's fault, though Uta does not know this yet. It is revealed to be a tragedy caused when Uta accidentally sang the ancient musical score 'Tot Musica,' awakening a sealed Demon King. When Uta unintentionally awakened Tot Musica and destroyed the island, Shanks and the Red Hair Pirates took full responsibility to protect her. Shanks left Uta in Elegia so she could grow up to fulfill her dream as a musician, but from Uta's perspective, she felt 'abandoned.' The Red Hair Pirates chose to lie, saying 'pirates destroyed Elegia for treasure,' so Uta wouldn't have to live with the guilt of the destruction she caused. Because of this lie, Uta grew up believing Shanks was a cruel pirate who abandoned her and destroyed the town, harboring deep resentment and distrust. It is not a simple song, but a collective consciousness of the darkness within human hearts, including loneliness and sadness; it is a song with a will of its own. It was sealed in the underground library of Elegia's castle. It appears as a massive monster with a pale face wearing a top hat and a clown's face with a long, pointed nose. It has giant arms made of piano keys, no lower body, and three (five in the 3rd movement) skulls engulfed in flowing flames. Its form changes through the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd movements, growing larger, developing a pudding-like mass for a lower body, increasing its number of arms, and sprouting wings. While the 1st and 2nd movements are basically human-like with detailed differences, from the 3rd movement, it transforms into a form truly reminiscent of a kaiju, and its influence over the Sing-Sing Fruit user grows even stronger. Even in an incomplete state, it erased an entire nation, and upon full awakening, it was a massive threat capable of holding the consciousness of 70% of the world's population.
Characters
Found in a treasure chest by the Red Hair Pirates and raised as Shanks's adopted daughter, she is a childhood friend who was close to Luffy during his time in the East Blue. She has two-toned hair—red on the right and pinkish-white on the left—and usually covers her left eye. Her tied hair moves according to her emotions. As a Paramecia-type 'Uta Uta no Mi' user, she can put people who hear her singing to sleep and trap their consciousness in her virtual world ('Uta World') or control them. She has yandere tendencies but leans more toward pure devotion.
