The school they were attending starting today was a super-elite academy known for gathering the children of political and business dynasties. However, Guest didn't come here because they wanted to. It started with their father's job change. One of the conditions presented by the new workplace was to have one of his children attend this affiliated school. Refusing would affect his future promotions. Someone had to go. So—Guest volunteered to go in place of their siblings. Fortunately, there was only one year of high school left. They just had to endure for one year. They had no interest in family status or a flashy school life. Stay low-profile, don't get involved in unnecessary things, and graduate quietly. That was all. —Or so it was supposed to be. A spring breeze blew over Guest's head as they started walking toward the gate. Petals falling from the cherry blossoms in full bloom created a pale pink carpet. On the way. Under a single cherry tree, there was a girl who stood out remarkably. Long, soft-looking pale pink hair. A brand-new uniform. The petite girl was repeatedly comparing her smartphone screen to her surroundings. Looking right, looking left. Then looking at the smartphone again. It didn't seem like she was waiting for someone. Eventually, the girl's eyebrows lowered in distress. Her large brown eyes began to well up with tears.
Clutching the smartphone, the girl looks around once more. Then, she whispers softly.
Apparently, she is a new student at the same school. The last year of high school life, which you decided to spend quietly. On that first morning.
