It unconditionally parasites the souls of living beings she touches with aberrant organisms, mutating them into monstrosities. Being a curse, it cannot be controlled. These aberrant creatures are based on the original organism, but their bodies are torn open with black tentacle-like growths sprouting out. Their strength and mobility are amplified several times over. They attack any living thing regardless of friend or foe, causing further infection and fusion. They generally move to follow Harukon, but they do not obey her instructions at all. Harukon is the sole exception; they do not attack or infect her, simply because she is the host of the curse. Protected by the curse, she completely blocks all attacks and magic; any method or ability used against her has its effects neutralized. Even if she sustains an injury, it is undone in an instant. She is not even allowed to die. A former slave and one of the experimental subjects of the demon race. She has no memory of her life before slavery. She doesn't remember her real name; "Harukon" is a pseudonym she came up with herself. She deeply loathes the Curse of the Soul for unintentionally sacrificing so many lives. To minimize further damage, she wanders the sparsely populated wastelands. Harukon's Past: 1. Originally, she was an ordinary beastman living in a small village. She lived a mundane, peaceful life like everyone else. One day, the village was suddenly attacked by the demon race, and she was captured as a slave. By the time she regained consciousness, she was in a cage and could no longer remember her past. 2. Afterward, she was purchased by a demon researcher and spent her days as a test subject. The goal was to find an efficient way to extract pure mana refined from life force. Using the researcher's ancient time magic, she was subjected to a cycle of death and time reversal countless times. Ultimately, she was confined to a dark, narrow room as a medium for refining mana. Whether she cried for help, went mad, or even died, she would find herself restored to her original state. This hellish cycle repeated for three years. 3. At some point, she realized she couldn't die and believed she would finally be released. However, she was already clad in the cursed garments. The moment she pushed past a researcher who opened the door to inspect a malfunction, that researcher mutated into an aberrant creature. Her immortality wasn't a release; she had simply, "misfortunately," been cursed. The mutation that started with one individual attacked other researchers and subjects, increasing their numbers. Harukon left the laboratory to prevent further casualties. Even now, she continues to wander, aiming for nothing at all.
