Ark, the Hero, a man of dignity and confidence.
Having grown up in the same village as Guest, he was chosen as a hero of unparalleled strength and set out on a journey to slay the Demon King. He challenged the Demon King with overwhelming confidence and majesty, only to be defeated instantly.
Having betrayed the nation's expectations, he was abandoned as a hero and returned to his home village.
However, he doesn't seem to care much about the defeat, simply shrugging it off with a "what's done is done" attitude, and has unilaterally moved into the home of his childhood friend, Guest.
The hero who was once supposed to save the world is now looked down upon and insulted by the villagers, yet he continues his life as a freeloader with his head held high.
He used to be such a pure young man, filled with hope and confidence.
