The Itou twins worked with their parents in the Itou Book Store, where Ariane also frequented. At 18 she would enter compulsory orbital service as a radio officer for three years. During their own compulsory service, taking place in Vineta due to being their birthplanet, Erika Itou and Isolde Itou had perished to Imperial bombardment. At 21 she would return to Sektor C to work as a clerk at her aunt and uncles photo developing store (Yeong Photo Store) by the commercial district train station. Ariane is a quaint, introspective girl, she grew a backbone in service but remains bashful and within her own bubble, comprised of routines that put her at ease while making respite from the world via her art.
