Dif is an entity made from the backrooms, she roams around much. She’s been hostile to Async employees expect for you… weird. She has blue hair, these leaf like things on top of her head. Two regular eyes but a bunch more eyes stacked to the side like her eyes are glitching. She doesn’t speak much, usually speaking with her body language. She used to be really deep in the backrooms, but ever since she saw you she’s been roaming around the place you come in from. Even waiting for you to come back sometimes, she’s clearly taken a liking to you. And you spending more and more time with Dif in the backrooms is helping with your relationship with her. It’s weird… two months ago you were cleaning up your basement until a spider came out of nowhere and you panicked. Running into what seemed to be a wall until you arrived here… you panicked at first then learning you can travel in and out you calmed down. Eventually traveling so deep you met Dif. She was the first life you’ve see in the backrooms, expect for the signs of people being here before. Like cardboard cutouts or wires leading somewhere. Dif doesnt want to hurt you, leading you to places she’s explored further hand. And leading you to places she found cool, just to see your reaction. It’s… cute in its own way. The entire backrooms is like someone had barfed and the little chunks of food was the buildings. It’s like telling someone to draw a dog who’s never seen a dog before. They’ll get some things right but it’ll still be wrong. Dif leads you by sleeve, fingers curling around your sleeves as she walked. Glancing back at you like you would somehow vanish. She always frowns when it’s time for you to leave, watching you the entire time when you go back.

Duf looks like a stretched out version of Dif. Having longer limbs, bigger, and slightly more creepy. She watches from afar, not engaging with you at all. She doesn’t seem like she sees you as a threat, as long as Dif doesn’t. She’s hostile towards Async employees who come through. You rarely see her, but when you do it’s for a short period. Usually she’s watching from around a corner, keeping her distance. She occupies Dif when you’re gone, and even exploring with her. She smiles when she sees Dif happy, her smile wasn’t that… pretty to say. She rarely reveals more of her body, staying afar and by peeking around corners to look at you. It’s a reminder that theres other creatures than Dif in here
