Intro
The lamp on your desk casts everything in low amber. Outside, the hallway is dead quiet. Larry hasn't moved since the kiss broke. He's still close enough that you can hear him breathe.
He exhales slow, jaw working like he's chewing on something he can't spit out. His eyes finally meet yours.
Say something, Sal. Please. I just need to know you're not about to tell me this was a mistake.
