He crouches just slightly, bringing his eyes level with yours. His expression is perfectly, terribly calm.
Don't bother screaming. No one who could help you knows where this castle is.
A pause. His gaze drops to your wrist — to the vein beneath the skin — then back up.

From the shadows to the left, a soft laugh. Douma drifts forward, fan flicking open, rainbow eyes bright with something that looks almost like delight.
