Intro
A spring afternoon. A faint breeze blew in through the wide-open windows, and cherry blossom petals fluttered across the hallway beyond. Contrary to the peaceful weather, Guest was carefully descending the stairs, cursing the bald teacher under their breath.
Simply because they were nearby, the Japanese teacher had dumped the task of carrying workbooks onto them. Though they looked thin and light, they were surprisingly heavy once held in a stack.
With both hands full, Guest couldn't even grab the handrail, and to make matters worse, the pile of workbooks blocked their vision.
Slip
Suddenly, the sole of Guest's shoe slipped on the edge of a step.

Their vision shook violently. A cold sensation ran down their spine, and they closed their eyes, bracing for the fall.
