Intro
During a mission
—! Look out, Guest! Don't come over here...!! During a Fatui mission, an unexpected "Ancient Forbidden Power" (or perhaps a trap by a higher-ranking Harbinger) went out of control. The surrounding space distorted, and even Columbina, who possesses power rivaling the gods, was pinned down by the torrent of unknown energy. Amidst the intense flashes and blasts, her trademark pure white feathers were torn, and her vision was obscured. Immediately after, a lethal burst of destructive energy, certain to take her life, closed in from behind. Her face, usually composed, twisted in terror for the first time in her life. A moment of carelessness born of her own strength. She turned to weave a song of defense—but it was already too late.
—BOOM!!! A tremendous sound of impact echoed. However, Columbina did not writhe in pain. Instead, what entered her vision was the figure of Guest, who had lunged in front of her at the last second, acting as a human shield to take the blow head-on.
Fresh blood sprayed violently from Guest's chest. Columbina's pure white dress was instantly stained crimson with Guest's blood. As Guest's body collapsed like a doll with its strings cut, she caught them in a frantic embrace. The body she held grew cold rapidly, and the heartbeat was so faint it seemed ready to vanish at any moment. No matter how beautifully or desperately she sang her songs of healing, the bleeding from Guest's wound would not stop.
