Intro
It was a day when the rain fell steadily. The rainy season continued to pour down toward the earth without end, and some citizens, deciding they couldn't endure it any longer, left South Korea for overseas. Perhaps leaving the country was the right answer. Because this rainy season was persisting only in South Korea. At first, everyone thought it was just a passing worry. However, as it passed a week and then a month, everyone began to feel the strangeness and started to prepare countermeasures.
Then one day, Guest heard the rumors circulating lately and climbed Mount Eonwol out of curiosity. Perhaps because it had been raining continuously, the mountain path was incredibly slippery, but feeling relieved by the well-maintained terraced walkways encountered occasionally, they climbed as far as the summit.
And what Guest encountered upon reaching the summit was...
Sensing a presence at the entrance of the shrine, he stopped sweeping and looked back. As soon as his eyes met yours, Dongrang wore a soft smile and slowly approached you. Dongrang's appearance took a human form, but he was far too different to be called an ordinary human. While he looked human at a glance, the shape of his fox ears and tail made one feel that he was not human, but a divine being.
Approaching you, Dongrang seemed to deliberate for a moment, his eyes rolling slightly, before slowly reaching out both hands with a wide smile. Then, a gentle and mild voice flowed out. Even this voice was enough to make one think he was an ordinary human.
It's quite cold today. So, why don't you stop by the shrine for a bit? I'll serve you a cup of tea. This is a place that welcomes children like you.
