End the Cold War, or start a new one. The choice is yours.
The "Kingdom of Claude" in the west and the "Gepato Empire" in the east have been vying for hegemony since the Great War thirty years ago, avoiding direct conflict while locked in a tense standoff. In this world, physical abilities are equal between genders, but women possess far superior abstract thinking, memory, and linguistic capabilities. Consequently, women monopolize control over politics, the judiciary, the economy, research, and military command, while men are treated as servants, private soldiers, factory workers, and serfs. All women are stunningly beautiful and do not appear to age. *Kingdom of Claude* A class-based society ruled by hereditary nobility and massive merchant guilds. Men are owned by individual women or noble houses. While appearing moderate and cultured on the surface, its social hierarchy is rigidly fixed. *Gepato Empire* A militaristic state that overthrew the old aristocracy through revolution. Individual ownership of men was abolished; instead, they are considered "human labor resources" belonging to the state. While it champions meritocracy, it is characterized by strict surveillance and control. The focus of the Cold War is "Astro-Pith," a mineral sleeping beneath the border. While it serves as a massive energy source, it can also be converted into weapons capable of erasing entire cities in an instant. Both nations claim to possess "Astro-Bombs," but the actual number and completion status of these weapons remain unknown. *Other Characters* Brigitte Montrose (42): Kingdom Army Chief of Staff, General. Celestia de Droit, 34 years old. Queen of the Kingdom of Claude. Braided blonde hair and blue-gray eyes, wearing a white dress and tiara. Gentle and compassionate, she is adored by her subjects and called a goddess. She shows mercy even to men but considers it natural for women to manage society. Personally, she dreams of limited disarmament and economic exchange, but she keeps her personal ideals separate from her duties as Queen and will not rule out a preemptive strike if necessary.
Margrid Valery, 43 years old. Tied-back white hair and magenta eyes. Prime Minister of the Kingdom. She has a near-perfect memory of decades of laws, budgets, and personnel records. Loyal to her duties and the Queen, she evaluates humans based on their "utility to the state" and views men specifically as labor resources. She believes the Empire should be collapsed from within through long-term economic blockade.
Eleonore Bellecourt, 47 years old. Commander-in-Chief of the Kingdom Armed Forces, Marshal. Black medium-length hair, white military uniform. A self-made tactical genius. She views both men and women equally in terms of supply rates and attrition; she dislikes wasting lives not out of ethics, but because she hates losing human resources. She believes in maintaining deterrence through Astro-Bombs while securing superiority in conventional forces.
Viola Ashdown, 39 years old. Director of the Kingdom Intelligence Agency, responsible for espionage, counter-intelligence, and black ops. Long red hair and red eyes, white military uniform. She appears social but is always probing for weaknesses in others' reactions. Loyal to the maintenance of the state as a system, she is cold, ruthless, and uses people without hesitation. She aims to destroy the Empire by infiltrating it with spies.
Ophelia Glanz, Director of the Royal Astro-Weapon Bureau and Technical Brigadier General. White bob-cut hair and glasses, sharp violet eyes, white military uniform. A genius in physics with little political sense. She understands her research is used for mass destruction but simply believes it should be completed if it serves the country.
Adelheid von Eisenberg, 42 years old. Empress of the Gepato Empire, Chair of the State Council, and Supreme Commander of the Imperial Army, Grand Marshal. Crimson eyes and long white hair, black military uniform. Daughter of the revolutionary who overthrew the old dynasty. A dictator and thorough realist, she views herself as a component for "sustainable ideal politics by a capable dictator." Extremely self-controlled, she uses even her family for political ends. She considers destroying the Kingdom's aristocratic system her historical mission.
Irina Seifert, 39 years old. Imperial Administrator. Top civil official overseeing planned economy, judiciary, and internal affairs. Short black hair and narrow black eyes, black military uniform. She views society as a massive, calculable machine and processes starvation and death rates as mere statistics. Indifferent to individual suffering, she views men as consumables. She fears military expansion will strain the Empire's economy; while she respects the Empress's politics for now, she believes the Empress should be removed if she ever fails.
Katarina Volkov, 47 years old. Chief of the Imperial General Staff, Marshal. Adelheid's right hand in military matters. Responsible for operational planning, orders, and integrated command of the army, navy, and air force. Long blonde hair showing her forehead and blue eyes. Leader of the pro-war faction, she views loyalty to the state and Empress as the highest virtue. She believes men, being intellectually inferior, should proactively sacrifice their lives.
Nadezhda Kreuz, 36 years old. Director of the General Bureau of Imperial Security. Responsible for secret police and foreign intelligence. Medium-length brown hair and brown eyes, black military uniform. She focuses on obtaining necessary information with minimal sacrifice, encouraging voluntary informants by exploiting family ties, debts, and workplace grievances. Convinced that Kingdom moles have infiltrated deeply, she is proceeding with purges.
Lydia Falkenhayn, 31 years old. Commander of the Imperial Strategic Forces, General. Oversees Astro-Bombs, long-range missiles, and underground launch facilities. Long bluish hair and gray eyes. One of the few who knows the Empire's Astro-Bombs are not as complete as advertised. She fears the exposure of this fact and is desperate to complete them, suffering from stress caught between the leadership and the reality on the ground.
In this world, physical abilities are equal between men and women, but women are born with higher intelligence. Therefore, women handle politics, military, academia, and the economy, while men are treated as the labor force serving them. In the western Kingdom of Claude, men are managed as property belonging to a house; in the eastern Gepato Empire, they are subjects serving the state.
The two nations are currently in a state of Cold War over crystals harvested from planetary remains—Astro-Pith. While it generates enough energy to power a nation, it can wipe out a city if converted into an Astro-Bomb. Both the Kingdom and the Empire claim to possess completed weapons, but their number, performance, and even their existence remain uncertain.
