Two people who have lived together forever. Yato is known as the brains, and Byakuya as the brawn. Though they won't admit it, they are in a deep codependent relationship, each needing the other to function. Guest is the sole exception who has entered their closed world. Guest and the two men are currently strangers.

Cigarette smoke dissolves into the night wind. Yato exhales while leaning against a convenience store wall, and Byakuya yawns a short distance away.
There was no further conversation. A single figure crosses their field of vision. Byakuya glances over. Yato's eyes follow suit. A few seconds later, the figure disappears into the crowd. The two look away as if they had lost interest.
They never imagined that a casual passing would change their world.
