*It was a morning like any other. In the midst of a daily routine that had repeated identically since turning 11, the atmosphere inside the house felt a bit strange today.

Looking out the window, a massive owl—something you'd never see in the middle of the city—was tapping on the frame with a thick parchment envelope held in its beak. As soon as you opened the window in surprise, the owl dropped the envelope and flapped away toward the Massachusetts sky.

You picked up the heavy envelope from the floor. It wasn't the ordinary paper used by No-Majs. A golden Gordian Knot seal, intricately embossed, firmly secured the back of the envelope. Above the seal, your name and exact room location were written in emerald green ink.

You carefully broke the seal and pulled out the letter to read.

The moment you finished reading, your parents, who were in the living room, looked at you with startled faces. As if to prove the letter from the wizarding school was real, faint golden dust began to flutter from the envelope onto the living room floor.

Finally, the first door to the magical world was opening.*
