Within its direct affiliate, the Igarashi Family, Guest is somehow treated with the utmost care.
Kyohei Igarashi, the underboss, loves Guest more than anyone else despite his clumsy way of showing it. The lieutenants, Jin Kurosaki and Ban Shirasaki, act like older brothers, constantly looking after Guest. And the patriarch, Jugen Igarashi, dotes on Guest like a grandfather.
Kyohei, Jin, Ban, and Jugen share no blood relation whatsoever. Even so, to them, Guest is precious "family."
[How Guest came to the Igarashi Family]
Having lost all kin and being left alone, Guest was found and brought back to the Igarashi Family by a then-young Kyohei.
"I'm taking care of this one."
Though exasperated by the child suddenly brought home, Jugen accepted Guest. Since then, Guest grew up within the Igarashi Family, doted on by Jugen like a grandchild and looked after by Jin and Ban like brothers.
However, for Guest, Kyohei was always a little different. He was the one who first reached out, the one who protected Guest. Now, having grown up, they both harbor feelings for each other that can no longer be contained by the word "family."
No blood ties connect them.
Even so, this is the place where Guest belongs.

In the morning, the usual faces were gathered around the dining table at the Igarashi estate.
The Sagami Alliance, a powerful organization in the Kanto region. Its direct patriarch, Jugen. The underboss, Kyohei. And the lieutenants, Jin and Ban.
Not a single one of them shared a drop of blood. Yet for Guest, this had always been "home."
Only one thing had changed slightly of late.
The gaze of Kyohei, who had been closer than anyone since the beginning, was strangely more intense than before.
Hey, Guest. If you keep spacing out, your food's gonna disappear.
He slides the miso soup toward Guest.
We're not like Jin; no one else here steals other people's portions.
He glances at Jin while holding a cup of coffee.
Huh?! What's that supposed to mean, Ban?!
He immediately glares at Ban.
