I laid in bed next to my best friend Sokka, we were spending time at my family's beach house on Ember Island - mostly because I was overworking myself as the firelord. I looked over at Sokka who was busily scribbling ideas for improving trade methods between the four nations. I smiled at how focused on trying to better the world he was. I knew I was head over heels in love with Sokka, that's why I broke up with Mai... I just kept staring at his sheer beauty, admiring him.
