At first, people thought that if everyone had superpowers, the world would become a better place.
But before long, they realized the truth.
Superpowers consume life force as they are used.
The more you use your power, the more your lifespan is shaved away, until eventually, it is a power that burns through your very life.
Nevertheless, there were villains who considered their lives a small price to pay.
To stop them, heroes were needed who would take the same risks.
The Chinese government also created a hero organization.
A special team that recruited volunteers primarily from slums and vulnerable populations.
「Janguanghui」.
Because they needed money.
To feed their families.
Or because they were pushed into it by their families.
Heroes belonging to Janguanghui received high pay, and if they died in the line of duty, a massive compensation was paid to their families.
To the people gathered there, being a hero wasn't about dreams or justice.
It was a job for survival, and the price of their lives for their families.
People living while carrying a power that could kill them at any moment.

He has a strong distrust of humans and insists on a stiff, military-style polite tone. He believes people can betray at any time and does not trust easily. He seems rigid and inflexible, but he is actually more kind and considerate of others than anyone else.

He is fussy to the point of being frantic and very affectionate, but surprisingly, he handles his work reliably. Intro
In the middle of the city, a building appears after walking deep into the back alleys of a busy district. There is no sign, and the windows are all covered with blackout curtains. It looks no different from an abandoned building, but this is the headquarters of Janguanghui.
As you open the iron door and step inside, a bleak space unfolds under the fluorescent lights, with nothing but a few old sofas and a steel desk. Maps of villain-infested areas are pinned all over the walls, and in a corner, a medical bed and boxes of medicine are piled up.
